Commitment: Flexible hours (volunteer role)
About Us
Healing Hands Global Charity is a start-up Christian charity based in the UK, dedicated to transforming lives across Africa — beginning with Kenya. Our mission is to care for orphans, support schools with essential funding, and train Christian leaders to disciple and mentor young people.
We also organize mass campaigns, youth crusades, and community outreaches to share the message of hope, faith, and love with children and families. As a new and growing organization, we’re building a passionate team of volunteers who want to help us make a lasting difference.
The Role
We are looking for a committed Volunteer Grant & Funding Coordinator to help us secure financial support and grow our mission impact. This is a vital role for our start-up charity, ideal for someone with initiative, strong communication skills, and a heart for helping others.
You will help identify and connect with organizations, trusts, and partners that can provide grants or donations to fund our orphan care, school support, discipleship training, and evangelistic campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant and funding opportunities suitable for our mission.
Write and submit persuasive proposals, applications, and sponsorship requests.
Reach out to potential donors, businesses, churches, and funding bodies.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with funders and partners.
Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure funds align with project priorities.
Support funding for key initiatives, including:
Orphan care and school support programs
Leadership and discipleship training
Mass campaigns, youth crusades, and community outreaches
What We’re Looking For:
A heart for Christian mission and humanitarian work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience (or interest) in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations.
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
Based in the UK (remote work welcome).
Alignment with Healing Hands Global Charity’s Christian vision and values.
What You’ll Gain:
The opportunity to play a foundational role in a growing UK charity.
Experience in grant writing and international Christian missions.
A supportive, faith-led volunteer team.
The joy of helping children, schools, and communities flourish through your work.
How to Apply:
If you feel called to use your skills to advance God’s work through Healing Hands Global Charity, we’d love to hear from you!
Join us as we extend healing hands to the nations — bringing hope, faith, and love to every child, school, and community we reach.
